Online Trauma Therapy & Eating Disorder Therapy in Wisconsin

You’ve spent so long trying to be “the strong one” that no one sees how overwhelmed you really feel.

Maybe you’re replaying every interaction, mentally tracking food all day, or scanning every room to see how your body measures up. Maybe the rules, the guilt, the pressure, and the self-criticism feel impossible to keep up with.

Underneath it all, you just want peace. Peace with food, peace with your body, and peace with yourself. You want to feel more connected to:

your relationships, your goals, your joy without constantly being pulled back into old patterns.

I help people like you break the cycle of self-criticism and food guilt, reconnect with their bodies, and finally find freedom and ease in their lives.

What getting started looks like:
  1. Book a free 15-minute intro call

    • A low-pressure conversation about what you’re navigating and the support you’re looking for.

  2. We check for fit, together

    • I’ll share how I work, you can ask questions, and we’ll see if it feels aligned.

  3. Move forward at your own pace

    • If it feels like a good match, we’ll schedule your first session. If not, that’s okay too.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Welcome!

I'm Lexi Bonilla, LCSW (she, her)

A licensed eating disorder therapist in Madison, WI

I support folks who feel trapped in cycles of self-criticism and body shame reconnect with their bodies and find peace with food. Taking down diet culture and body respect is my jam. My favorite part of this work is helping people realize their body was never a problem to solve.

It makes sense if you’re unsure.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’ve spent years trying to hold it all together. A free consultation gives you space to share what’s been weighing on you and get a feel for how therapy could support you.
